Connect Clio so your AI receptionist can book consultations directly on your Clio calendar and recognize your clients when they call.
Connect Clio and your AI can book consultations straight onto your Clio calendar, live during the call. Built for law firms.
Before you begin
- Clio booking is included on the Pro and Scale plans.
- Set your business hours in RankLadder first: open Receptionist, then the Business tab. Clio availability comes from your RankLadder business hours, so the AI needs them to know when to offer times.
Steps
- Open Settings → Workspace → Connections.
- Find Clio under Legal.
- Select Connect.
- Sign in to your Clio account and approve access.
- You land back on Connections, and Clio now shows Connected.
Turn it into real bookings
Connecting is only step one. Go to Receptionist, then Appointments, and add the appointment types you want your AI to offer (for example, "Initial consultation"), with a short note on when to offer each one. Without one, your AI can't offer to book anything.
What happens next
Your AI offers openings from your business hours, skips times already taken on your Clio calendar, and books consultations directly into Clio. As a bonus, your Clio contacts sync into Contacts when you connect, so the AI recognizes existing clients by phone number when they call.
If it does not work
- If the AI offers no times, check your business hours under Receptionist, then the Business tab.
- If the card shows Needs attention, the Clio connection dropped. Select Reconnect and approve access again.
