Acuity Scheduling
Connect your Acuity Scheduling account so your AI receptionist can check real openings and book appointments live, during the call.
Connect your Acuity Scheduling account and your AI can offer real openings and book appointments for callers, right on the call.
Before you begin
- Acuity booking is included on the Starter, Pro, and Scale plans.
- Your Acuity account needs to be on Acuity's own top-tier plan. That's what unlocks the connection on their end, not something RankLadder controls.
- Set up at least one appointment type in Acuity first (for example, "Consultation" or "Estimate visit"). Your AI can only offer appointment types that already exist in your Acuity account.
Steps
- Open Settings → Workspace → Connections.
- Find Acuity Scheduling under Calendar & scheduling.
- Select Connect.
- Log in to your Acuity account and approve access.
- You'll land back on Connections, and Acuity Scheduling now shows Connected.
Turn it into real bookings
Connecting is only step one. Go to Receptionist, then Appointments, and add the Acuity appointment types you want your AI to offer, with a short note on when to offer each one. See the guide "Let your receptionist book appointments".
What happens next
Your AI now checks real Acuity availability and books directly into it, live on the call. Nothing in your Acuity account is changed except new bookings your AI makes. Your existing Acuity hours, buffers, and booking rules are the ones your AI follows.
If it does not work
If the connection fails right away, the most common cause is your Acuity plan. API access needs Acuity's top-tier plan; check your plan in Acuity directly. If you connected but no appointment types show up when setting up Receptionist, then Appointments, confirm the appointment type is marked active in Acuity.
