Organize calls with tags
Create call tags with an emoji, name, description, and color. Your AI tags every call as it ends, and you can filter your Inbox by tag.
Tags sort conversations for you. Create them under Anders → Handling → Call tags, and Anders applies compatible tags after a conversation. Then filter your Inbox by tag.
RankLadder always keeps four default tags at the top: Sales inquiry, Scheduling request, Urgent, and Complaint. You can edit their emoji, name, description, or color, but you cannot delete them. Tags you add yourself remain deletable.
Before you begin
- You need the owner or manager role.
- The description matters most. Your AI reads it to decide when a tag applies, so write it like you'd explain it to a new hire.
Steps
- Open Anders → Handling → Call tags.
- Under Add a tag, enter a Name, like "Warranty claim".
- Write a Description that tells your AI when the tag applies. For example: "Caller is asking about a repair still under warranty."
- Pick an Emoji and Color. The choices are Purple, Blue, Green, Amber, Red, and Brown, and each previews the finished tag style before saving.
- Click Add tag.
What happens next
- Your AI starts using the tag on the very next call. As each call ends, it reads your descriptions and applies every tag that fits. A call can get more than one tag.
- To change an existing tag, select Edit, revise its name, description, emoji, or color, then select Save changes.
- Tags show on each conversation in your Inbox.
- To see only calls with a certain tag, use the Tags filter in the Inbox sidebar. All tags brings everything back.
- Archive a tag you created to stop Anders from applying it to new work. An archived tag then offers Delete; deleting removes it from every past call and cannot be undone. Default tags never offer Archive or Delete.
If it does not work
- If a tag never gets applied, sharpen its description. "Urgent" alone is vague; "Time-sensitive issue that needs attention right away" gives the AI something to work with.
- If two tags overlap a lot, make the descriptions more distinct so each one has a clear job.
