Change your receptionist's voice and greeting

Choose the voice customers hear, set the tone your business speaks in, and write your greeting and voicemail message. Changes apply on the next call.

Everything customers hear when your AI receptionist answers lives in one tab: open Anders and choose Voice & Greetings.

What you can change

  • Receptionist voice. The sound customers hear on every AI-answered call. Each choice has a style name, such as Warm or Clear, plus a short description like "Warm and upbeat" or "Clear and professional." The name labels the voice preset; it does not rename Anders or create a separate assistant. Select one to hear it.
  • Brand voice. How your business talks, in your own words: "Warm and personal. We keep things simple, never pushy." This one setting shapes the AI everywhere it speaks for you, on calls and when it drafts replies to your Google reviews.
  • Greeting. What callers hear when the AI picks up. Leave it on RankLadder handles it for a natural default, or write your own.
  • Voicemail greeting. What callers hear when AI answering is off. Write it yourself or tap Write with AI for a draft, then Generate & listen to hear it, then Save voicemail.

Identity and disclosure

Anders is the name used by you and your team inside RankLadder. He does not introduce himself to callers as Anders. Callers are told up front that they're talking to an AI and that the call may be recorded. That disclosure is always the first sentence of the greeting, in the caller's language. Your custom greeting comes right after it and the disclosure cannot be turned off.

Steps

  1. Open Anders and choose Voice & Greetings.
  2. Change any of the fields above.
  3. Save. The very next call uses your new settings.

What happens next

Changes are instant; there's nothing to restart. Callers on the very next call hear the new voice and greeting. Nothing else about your setup changes.

If it does not work

If the voicemail preview won't generate, try Generate & listen again in a moment. Remember to press Save voicemail; the preview isn't live until you save it.
