Tell the AI about your business

Business facts holds your name, address, hours, and what you do. Anders uses these details to introduce your business and answer questions about hours and location.

Anders introduces your business and answers questions about hours and location using the details in one place: open Anders → Knowledge → Business facts. Keep this setting accurate and Anders stays accurate.

Before you begin

  • You need to be an owner or manager.
  • The weekly hours grid is edited in the web dashboard.

What's in the Business profile

  • Business name. How the AI says who you are.
  • Address. Used when callers ask where you are.
  • Business phone number. Your business's own line.
  • What your business does. A sentence or two. Your AI uses this to describe your business on calls and in review replies.
  • Timezone. Keeps your hours and appointment times right.
  • Business hours. A weekly grid with a switch for each day. Toggle a day on and set opening and closing times. Toggle a day off and it shows Closed; the AI tells callers you're closed that day.

Steps

  1. Open Anders → Knowledge → Business facts.
  2. Fill in or fix any of the fields above.
  3. Set your Business hours: switch each day on or off, then set the open and close times for open days.
  4. Choose Save profile.

What happens next

The very next call uses the new details. There's nothing to restart. Your hours do double duty: the AI answers "are you open" questions with them, and if it books appointments for you, they also decide when it can offer times (unless an appointment type sets its own availability).

If it does not work

  • If the AI states wrong hours, check both the Business hours grid and your Timezone.
  • If the AI describes your business poorly, rewrite What your business does in one or two plain sentences.
  • For answers that go beyond these basics, add entries in the Knowledge tab instead.
