Ways to sign in to RankLadder
Sign in to RankLadder on the web with your email and password, a magic link, or Google. On the mobile app, sign in with your five-digit app code or a QR code.
You can sign in to RankLadder on the web three ways: email and password, a magic link, or Google. The mobile app has its own two ways: a five-digit app code or a QR code.
On the web
Go to rankladder.app and open the sign-in page. You'll see Welcome back.
Email and password
Enter your Email and Password, then select Sign in. This works if you created your account with a password.
Magic link
No password needed. Enter your Email, then select Email me a magic link. You'll see a note that your sign-in link is on its way. Open the email and select the link, and you're in. Magic links work for existing accounts only.
Select Continue with Google and pick your Google account. This works when your RankLadder account uses the same email as your Google account. If you signed up with Google, this is your fastest way in.
Not sure which method your account uses? Check Settings, the Account tab, under Signed in as. The Connected with line shows Email & password, Google, or both.
On the mobile app
The mobile app doesn't use your web password. It has two sign-in options:
- App code: enter your email plus your five-digit app code. Find the code in Settings, on the Mobile App tab, in the App access code card.
- QR code: on the web, go to Settings, the Mobile App tab, and select Show QR code. In the app, choose Sign in with QR code and point your phone at the screen. Each QR code signs in as you, works once, and expires quickly, so don't share it.
New accounts are always created on the web, not in the app. The one exception: if you're invited to a team, you can accept the invite and create your account from the invite link.
If it does not work
- You see that the email or password didn't match? Try again, or use Email me a magic link to get in without the password.
- No magic link email? Check spam, and make sure you typed the email your account uses.
- Google sign-in lands you somewhere unexpected? Your Google email may differ from your RankLadder email. Use the email your account was created with.
- QR code won't scan? Select Generate a new code on the web and try again. Codes expire fast by design.
