Update your name, photo, and password
Manage your personal RankLadder profile from the Account tab in Settings. Upload a profile photo or use your initials, and see the email and sign-in method on your account.
Your personal profile lives in Settings, on the Account tab. That's where you set your photo and see the email your account uses. Every role can open this tab.
Your photo
Your photo shows up next to your name in the team list and next to your replies in website chat, so visitors see who they're talking to. Until you upload one, RankLadder shows your initials instead. There's no gallery of preset pictures, it's your own photo or your initials.
- Open Settings and select the Account tab.
- In the Your photo card, select Upload photo.
- Pick a PNG, JPG, or WebP file up to 1 MB. A square image looks best.
To swap it later, select Change photo. To go back to your initials, select Remove.
Your name
Your name is set when you create your account, in the Full name field at sign-up. There's no field to edit it in Settings today. If you need it corrected, contact RankLadder support and we'll update it for you.
Your email and sign-in method
The Signed in as card on the Account tab shows the Email on your account and what it's Connected with, for example Email & password or Google.
Your password
There's no password-change screen in Settings today. If you can't remember your password, you can still get in: on the sign-in page, enter your email and select Email me a magic link. The link in your email signs you in without a password. Need the password itself changed? Contact RankLadder support.
If it does not work
- Photo won't upload? Check the file type (PNG, JPG, or WebP) and size (under 1 MB), then try again.
- Photo looks stretched or cropped oddly? Use a square image.
