Invite a team member
Add managers and staff to your RankLadder team from Settings. Starter includes 2 teammates, Pro includes 4, and Scale includes 6; pending invites count too.
You invite team members from Settings, on the Team tab. Enter their email, pick a role, and RankLadder emails them an invite link.
Before you begin
- Starter includes 2 teammate seats, Pro includes 4, and Scale includes 6. The Owner does not use a seat. The trial does not include teammates.
- Owners can add more teammate seats for $15 per month or $150 per year each. The Plan tab shows the charge before checkout.
- You need the Owner or Manager role. Owners can invite Managers and Staff. Managers can invite Staff only.
- Both members and pending invites use up seats. If every seat is taken, remove a member or revoke an invite first.
Steps
- Open Settings and select the Team tab. You'll see how many teammate seats are in use, for example 1 of 2.
- Type your teammate's email address in the Email field.
- Pick a role under Role: Manager or Staff.
- Select Send invite. The invite appears in your team list marked Invite pending, and your teammate gets an email.
What happens next
- The invite email has an Accept the invite button and expires in 7 days.
- Your teammate accepts on the web, creates an account with the invited email if they don't have one, and joins your business right away. They never see billing or setup screens.
- Next to a pending invite you can also use Copy link to send the invite yourself, or QR to show a code they can scan. If they already have the RankLadder mobile app, they can scan the QR code there to join.
- To take back an invite, select Revoke. To remove a member later, select Remove. Both free up a seat.
If it does not work
- The invite form is grayed out and you see that all seats are in use? Remove a member, revoke a pending invite, upgrade, or ask the Owner to add a seat.
- You see that the email already has a pending invite? Revoke the old invite first, then send a new one.
- Your teammate says the link doesn't work? Invites expire after 7 days and work once. Send a fresh invite.
