Your RankLadder phone number
What the dedicated local number RankLadder gives your business is for, where to find it, and how it works together with the number your customers already dial.
Your RankLadder number is a real local phone number dedicated to your business. It's where your AI receptionist answers. You can see it anytime in Settings under Call Forwarding, next to the label Your RankLadder number.
What it is
- It's yours alone. RankLadder creates it during setup, in the area code you picked. No other business shares it.
- It's where the AI answers. Calls that reach this number are answered by your AI receptionist (or recorded as voicemail when AI answering is off).
- It's included. The number comes with your trial, and it stays the same when you move to a paid plan. Callers, contacts, and history all stay with it.
How it fits with your existing number
You keep the phone number your customers already know. Nothing about it changes, and it never moves anywhere.
Call forwarding connects the two. Your phone provider decides which calls are sent to your RankLadder number. After they arrive, AI on answers them and AI off sends them to RankLadder voicemail. Callers never need to know a second number exists.
Where to find it
- Open Settings.
- Choose Call Forwarding.
- Your number appears near the top, after Your RankLadder number.
Just finished setup and don't see it yet? The screen will say your dedicated number is being provisioned. It usually appears within moments. Refresh the page if it's taking a while.
