What RankLadder for WordPress does

See every WordPress tool, what it connects to in RankLadder, and which plans include it.

RankLadder for WordPress turns the business information you already manage in RankLadder into useful parts of your website. One secure connection can add booking, Google reviews, click-to-call, structured business data, website knowledge sync, and AI chat—without copying the same information into several WordPress plugins.

What you can add

ToolWhat appears on your websiteWhere the information comes from
BookingA button or embedded schedulerActive Calendly or Acuity appointment types in RankLadder
Google reviewsA Google review button, with optional rating and review countYour connected Google Business Profile
Click-to-callA button that opens the visitor's phone appThe public business phone number saved in RankLadder

The booking, review, and call tools are WordPress blocks. Put them only on the pages where they help. Structured data is added automatically to the homepage. Knowledge sync and AI chat have their own controls under Settings → RankLadder in WordPress.

What WordPress connects to

The plugin reads a small, public-facing configuration from RankLadder:

  • Your business name and public phone number.
  • Active public Calendly or Acuity destinations.
  • Your active Google Business Profile review destination and rating snapshot.
  • Business description, category, address, hours, and enabled question-and-answer knowledge for structured data.
  • Your public chat widget key only when the plan includes chat and Website Chat is enabled.

The plugin does not connect directly to Google, Calendly, or Acuity. You connect those services to RankLadder, and RankLadder gives WordPress only the public information needed for the selected website tool.

What it does not do

RankLadder for WordPress does not:

  • Read WordPress drafts, private pages, password-protected pages, or custom post types during knowledge sync.
  • Publish or edit WordPress posts.
  • Automatically enable new knowledge or overwrite knowledge you already approved.
  • Read Bookly, Amelia, Booking Calendar, or another WordPress booking database.
  • Turn Google Calendar or Outlook into an embedded website scheduler. Those calendars can still power phone booking through the AI receptionist.
  • Share your WordPress administrator password or database credentials with RankLadder.

How the connection stays separate from your website

The one-time rl_wp_ connection key is saved on your WordPress server and sent only to fixed RankLadder HTTPS endpoints. RankLadder stores a hash of the key, not the full secret. The secret is never printed into public HTML or browser JavaScript.

Website visitors receive only the public output they need: a booking or review URL, a phone link, structured data, or the public chat widget when eligible.
