How it works
Your AI already knows your business from the knowledge you've taught it. Website chat uses that same brain. There is nothing extra to train. If your AI can answer a question on the phone, it can answer the same question in chat.
You turn it on under Receptionist, in the Website Chat tab. Then you paste one line of code into your website. That's the whole setup.
What visitors see
A chat bubble sits in the corner of your website. When a visitor opens it, they see your opening message and can start typing. The assistant is always labeled as an AI in the chat window, so visitors know who they're talking to.
Visitors can ask questions, leave a message for your team, or ask for a real person.
When a chat reaches your Inbox
Quick questions the AI handles on its own stay out of your way. A chat shows up in your Inbox when it needs you:
- The visitor asks for a human.
- The visitor leaves contact info, like a name, phone number, or email.
From there it works like any other conversation. You can read the whole chat, and you can jump in and reply yourself at any time. Once you reply, the AI steps back and the chat is yours.
