RankLadder Help

Use RankLadder with Make

Build Make scenarios that react to RankLadder calls and contacts, or create contacts in RankLadder.

Make lets you build visual scenarios that connect RankLadder to your other tools. RankLadder modules can start a scenario the moment a call finishes or a contact appears, and can create contacts in RankLadder from any scenario.

Connect RankLadder to Make

  1. In RankLadder, open the Connections page and scroll to the Automation section.
  2. On the Make card, click Generate API key.
  3. Copy the key right away. It is shown only once.
  4. In Make, add a RankLadder module to your scenario and paste the key when Make asks you to create the connection.

If you ever need a fresh key, click Generate new key on the same card. The old key stops working, so update your Make connection with the new one.

Trigger modules

These are instant triggers: they start a scenario as soon as the event happens, no polling.

  • New Conversation: a phone call finished, whether it was answered by the AI or went to voicemail. Spam and hang-ups are excluded. Voice calls only today.
  • Missed Call: a call went to voicemail.
  • New Contact: a new contact was created in RankLadder, synced from a connected CRM or created by an automation.

Action module

  • Create or Update Contact: creates a RankLadder contact, or updates an existing one matched by phone number. Phone is required; name and email are optional.

Example scenarios

  • New Contact in RankLadder, then add a row to a Google Sheets spreadsheet.
  • Missed Call in RankLadder, then send yourself an email with the caller and summary.
  • A new order in your online store, then Create or Update Contact in RankLadder so the AI knows the customer when they call.
  • New Conversation in RankLadder, then create a lead in your CRM with the call summary.
